About Two Sons Pizza

Two Sons Pizza serves New York style artisan slices and 20" pies. Located inside Silver Spruce Brewing with indoor and outdoor seating available.

Two Sons Pizza is a pizza takeout in Traverse City, Michigan. It is listed at 439 E Eighth St, Traverse City, MI 49686, which places it among the local businesses of Traverse City that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as pizza delivery, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

In Traverse City, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Michigan on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 12–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Two Sons Pizza at (231) 463-6887; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is twosonspizza.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Pretty good pie. A little floppier than I’d prefer, but the flavor and quality of ingredients used was on point. I would come back again, but next time I would prefer to have it β€œwell done” to alleviate some flop.

Very good NY style pizza! Props to these guys for stayin open for the 4th! At first the wait time estimated was long and after a few mins it refreshed and was about 40 mins for pick up. We ate the pizza on the beach during sunset and it was a majestic experience. We got the Grand Pepperoni Pie - it was not greasy and was easy to eat! Highly recommend!! Also $30 and it fed 4 grown adults - it was a big pizza 😍

Pizza was some of the best I’ve had. We got the meatball with ricotta cheese. Crust was thin flavorful and crisp & the toppings were fresh and taste of good quality. Went back for seconds. Sad I live in Florida and can’t make this our new spot! The place feels very fun & industrial but no music or games which would be ideal it being attached to brewery. Good outdoor seating available as well. A lot of potential for sure !

Ordered 5 pizzas a day early for my twins’ Birthday party. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE at the party commented several times how they were so impressed with the pizza and asked where I found Two Son’s. I was lucky with a google search for β€œthe biggest pizza in T.C.” (20” large instead of the traditional 14”) I ran a pizzeria for a bit and my standards are high. They met and exceeded them. Quality ingredients, attention to detail and balanced instead of β€œfeast or famine” style toppings. 6 out of 5 stars , 10 out of 10 recommended by a pizza lover by you. Nerd math: I had an initial order for 7 single topping pizzas from another local favorite. $156 14 inch pizzas x7 =1,078 inch area Two Sons -$159 20 inch pizzas x 5 =1,578 inch area And they were multi-topping SPECIALTY PIZZAS! These guys know their craft, are clearly passionate about what they do and SOMEHOW still present it in a way that makes it available to an average consumer while looking and tasting like something normally double the price. Hats off to Two Sons for keeping the customer and quality first. We’ll be back soon.

I went in the middle of a weekday to grab a slice to go, so I didnt get the whole dining experience. They are located in the same building as a brewery, so that's pretty great! I came in, and they had 7 or 8 different pizzas available for the "by the slice" option. Two were vegetarian, which is great for me. I expected them to just dish one up right there and sell it to me, but they put it in the oven to warm it back up, and even added some flavored oil to freshen it up. I've never had actual new york pizza but this ticked all the boxes. Nice and cheesy, you could fold it in half and eat it, and it took up most of the plate. I didn't give a higher atmosphere rating because it was dark inside at the time and it was your run of the mill millennial type restaurant/bar decor and honestly, I would like to see someone do something different. Also, I was there in the winter on a weekday. I'm sure it's great during peak hours
